Race SoCal Newsletter – April 2010

    Wow what a fantastic year we have had through 2009/10 - we have had well over 100 motocross riders from all over the world come and stay with us in California. Our Honda motorcycles have held up well and the new CRF250 is running fantastic, I have just started riding again myself after an 18 month lay off and the CRF250 is such a fun bike to ride.  Right now is a great time to come and ride in California, AMA supercross is almost over and the riders are now starting to prepare for the nationals, all the local tracks are filled the top AMA riders putting in the laps testing and training for the upcoming AMA Season. 
     The big news this week is that the FIM World Motocross Championship is coming to Glen Helen, our local track.  This is set to be the biggest race of the century as the GP riders are coming and the AMA riders have the weekend off from the nationals.  This race is on the doorstep of the American motocross industry and the first GP to be held here since 1999 - will the top teams want their riders to race?  You bet - this is a chance the show theirtop riders and equipment to a world audience!  Team KTM riders Tommy Searle and Mike Alessi are already in and I am sure other teams will follow suite.
     For this "race of the century", as it has been named, Race SoCal will be putting on a one of a kind ride trip package.  Come and stay in California for 9 days featuring riding on 4 amazing tracks, tours of Pro Circuit, Troy Lee Designs and Oakley, shopping at Chapperal, Langston Motorsports etc, Karting at the famous Pole Position and of course weekend tickets to the US GP with pit party and BBQ overlooking the racing on Sunday.  We have spaces for 10 riders so book fast!

    We also have some new trips and new ideas coming up for 2010 and beyond.  Firstly as of June 2010 we will be organising family holidays.  You and your family can rent our holiday home in California, you can have the whole place to yourselves bring the kids  and have a full California holiday.  The house is located 45 minutes from San Diego and hour from Los Angeles and is local to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sea World and many other theme parks and attractions.  Also as part of your family holiday to California you can book days riding for yourself and the kids at local  California motocross tracks.  We have big bikes for the dads and 150/85 for the kids - so pack up your summer holiday gear and get over to California!
    Also coming up this year is the Motocross of Nations in Colorado, just 15 minutes outside of Denver, why not come to ride in California for a week, then stay in Denver, spend 2 days watching the world's largest motocross race and spend your evening wining in dining in the bars and restaurants of America's highest city surrounded by the Rocky Mountains.  Please click here for more info on our MXoN Ride Trip 2010.
